  • What is MOMS Club®?
    • MOMS Club® is a non-denominational, non-profit organization that supports ALL at-home moms with social activities held mainly during daytime hours.  The MOMS Club® of Sunbury is a local chapter affiliated with the International MOMS Club®.
  • Why is MOMS capitalized?
    • MOMS Club® is an acronym for Moms Offering Moms Support®.
  • Do your children have to be a certain age to join MOMS Club®?
    • No.  We welcome mothers with children of all ages.
  • How often do I need to attend events?
    • You may choose to participate as much or as little as you would like or your schedule allows.  Some members attend a few events a week while others may only be able to attend once a month.  We distribute monthly calendars ahead of time to enable you to work in MOMS Club® events where you are able.
  • Are the events more for moms or more for kids?
    • The MOMS Club® is centered around our members' needs.  The current membership helps to determine the events that would strike a balance between much-needed MOM time with kid-friendly activities.  You will see that most activities, such as a Walk and Play event at a local playground, will give MOMS time to chat during the walk as well as provide time for the little ones to monkey around.
  • Are children welcome at all events?
    • Yes!  We expect your kids to be with you at the majority of our events.  The only exception is during MOMS Night Out, which is held once a month during the evening hours.  Of course, our nursing mothers are always welcome to bring their infants with them to this event.
  • Are there babysitters at MOMS Club® events?
    • No, our chapter has not utilized babysitters at our events.  We're all MOMS, so we understand if you need to jump up and run after your child in the middle of a conversation.
  • What are the ages of the children in MOMS Club® currently?
    • The age ranges of the children currently in MOMS Club® are newborns through elementary school ages.  
  • Do you only meet during the daytime?
    • Yes, we typically meet in the morning hours with a few late afternoon play dates scheduled within the month to include those with little ones in morning preschool.  We meet in the evenings once a month for MOMS Night Out and occasionally schedule Family Picnics in the evening.
  • Is there a cost associated with MOMS Club® membership?
    • The yearly dues for the MOMS Club® of Sunbury is $25.  
  • What are the dues used for?
    • Membership dues are used to support the International MOMS Club® yearly dues, administrative costs associated with running the club, and charitable donations.
  • Are there any other costs associated with MOMS Club®?
    • Our chapter tries to keep the scheduled activities either free or low-cost.  There may be activities that cost a nominal fee, which will be listed in the club communications for the month.
  • How are food allergies handled?
    • There are members with children who have food allergies.  We ask that you refrain from offering any snack to a child without the parent approving the snack first.  Please also avoid bringing any peanut products to MOMS Club® events.
  • How do members receive club communication?
    • MOMS Club® of Sunbury members receive a monthy newsletter with a message from the president along with the next month's calendar of events.  Members will receive a weekly e-mail reminder of upcoming events along with Facebook event invitations through our private Facebook Group Page.
  • Am I allowed to solicit customers for my at-home/online business or fund raiser?
    • Our chapter encourages a casual, no-pressure environment.  We prohibit any member from selling or soliciting during MOMS Club® events, through e-mail communications, or social media messaging.
  • Is there an event I can attend to check our MOMS Club®?
    • Yes!  You are welcome to attend our Monthly Business Meeting, which is a great way for you to meet our current members plus enjoy a craft and snack with your children.  You may also attend another public event, for a total of 2 events within 30 days, before choosing to join MOMS Club®.

  • What will I get out of joining MOMS Club®?
    • Our membership is a wealth of practical MOM knowledge!  If you have a question about what to do with your teething infant, a new take on potty training, or which preschools to check out - you are sure to find one of our members who have been in your shoes and are willing to offer some advice.
    • Plus, you and your child will have opportunities to explore the community and have social interaction with other MOMS and children.  You get a little break from only speaking in Disney Junior to a crowd of five and under while your children gain very important social and emotional skills while playing with their new friends!
  • How do I join?
    • Please send us a message in the right sidebar of our page to attend one of our events for FREE!   
    • Once you decide that our group is the right fit for you and your children, then you can follow the steps on this page to secure membership.
